Jonathan Haskel is Professor of Economics at Imperial College Business School as well as a financial advisor to governments and industries, both in the UK and beyond. Stian Westlake is Chief Executive of the Royal Statistical Society and was previously an Executive Director at Nesta, a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and an official at HM Treasury.
