We鈥檙e thrilled that 91桃色 has been shortlisted for the Academic, Educational and Professional Publisher of the Year section of the British Book Awards 2021. This marks the first British Book Awards nomination for PUP since the establishment of our European office in 2000. The shortlisting notes the Press鈥檚 work with in-house and licensed audio publishing; the undertaking of major digitization efforts; and PUP鈥檚 鈥渄ecisive action on diversity,鈥� including the funding of scholarships, paid internships and fellowships, and the launch of Global Equity Grants for contracted authors.
The British Book Awards, or Nibbies, 鈥渞epresent the best of the book trade鈥攖he UK鈥檚 leading creative industry. First launched in 1990 and now run by The Bookseller, the British Book Awards and its sister awards schemes鈥擳he British Book Award for Export and Library of the Year鈥攕howcase and celebrate the best books, the best bookshops and the best publishers.鈥�
This year鈥�s winners will be announced on May 13.
