BookTrust is the UK鈥檚 largest children鈥檚 reading charity. Each year BookTrust reaches millions of children across the UK with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading.
Books Through Bars sends free books to incarcerated people in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
The Freedom to Read Foundation (FTRF) is a non-profit legal and educational organization affiliated with the . FTRF protects and defends the First Amendment to the Constitution and supports the right of libraries to collect鈥攁nd individuals to access鈥攊nformation.
The Foundation for City College at the City University of New York (CUNY) provides access to educational and research excellence, particularly to students who might not otherwise attend a senior college.
Learning Ally provides tools to help educators drive sustainable transformational change in literacy leadership and student achievement. The group helps school systems and leaders address the equity gap through evidence-based solutions that combine early assessment, intervention, and accommodation with interactive professional development and coaching.
The National Coalition Against Censorship acts as a first responder to protect free expressions. The group promotes freedom of thought and inquiry and opposes censorship. When controversy occurs, they encourage and facilitate dialogue between divergent voices and perspectives, including those that have historically been silenced.
Named after the civil rights and gay rights activist Bayard Rustin, the center is an intersectional LGBTIA safe-space and community activist hub, hosting events and other programming.
People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos connects lives to literature through vibrant reading and discussion programs in diverse settings, including residential treatment facilities, prisons and reentry centers, homeless shelters, adult education programs, libraries, and senior residences.
HomeFront鈥檚 mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community and offering a holistic array of services for clients who are either homeless or at high risk of becoming so.

The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen feeds the hungry and offers programs and services to encourage self-sufficiency and improve quality of life for people in the Greater Trenton, New Jersey area. They deliver more than 9,000 meals each week, six days per week.
The Universal Reading Foundation was established in 2018 and aims to raise the level of reading in Poland by reaching non-reading families. They are raising funds to distribute books for refugee children from Ukraine and support Ukrainian publishers.
