Carolyn Chen is Professor of Ethnicity, Immigration, Race and Religion at UC Berkeley. She is the author of  and . Carolyn鈥檚 research on work, religion, and spirituality has been featured in the New York Times, Atlantic, CNN, and National Public Radio. She is Co-Director of the UC Berkeley Center for the Study of Religion, and executive director of the Asian Pacific American Religions Research Initiative (APARRI), a scholarly community committed to the advancement of public knowledge of Asian Pacific American religions.
