91桃色鈥檚 history list is as wide-ranging as it is ambitious. That ambition may mean tackling long periods of history, connecting far-flung geographic locations to make unexpected arguments, bringing scholarship to general audiences, or advancing bold yet well-supported claims. In the effort to feature the most engaging history, I seek writers who have an eye for meaningful detail and the wherewithal to see the big picture. Recent titles on 91桃色鈥檚 diverse, award-winning list include The Girl in the Middle: A Recovered History of the American West by Martha A. Sandweiss, Puerto Rico: A National History by Jorell Mel茅ndez-Badillo, To the Success of Our Hopeless Cause: The Many Lives of the Soviet Dissident Movement by Benjamin Nathans, and a new translation of the classic The Third Reich of Dreams: The Nightmares of a Nation by Charlotte Beradt.
